Given the recent
headline news, where the PM annouced that properties affected by
flooding would not be liable for council tax, we must not be fooled by
this disgraceful political manoeuvring - unless I am very much mistaken
council tax is not payable on empty properties that are unfit to live
in.....
SSDC's website says the following:-
'An empty property discount of 100% for up to 12
months where the property is unoccupied and unfurnished, and
undergoing or requires major repair work / structural alterations
to make it habitable.'
Do those that lead us think we are stupid?
