Panto season

With the panto season now well under way I'm working my way through as many as I can, four so far. This is clearly one of the best examples of the 'big society' at work in our local communities, where everyone mucks in to help, be it on stage or behind the scenes. Cloverleaf's performance in Combe St. Nicholas this year came up trumps as usual, with their offbeat production of 'Yankee Doodle', directed by Ros Roderigo. For a regular panto goer like myself it made a refreshing change. Nanette Wale dressed as a chicken was a sight to behold, whilst the Ghostbusties dancing gangnam style is a truly memorable moment. Can't wait for next year.
